David Beckham came onto the scene at Old Trafford in 1992. He was part of a golden generation of young footballers brought through by famous manager Alex Ferguson alongside Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs. The famous class of 92' who in the end won it all.

He made his debut at 17 years of age, but famously scored one of the best goals ever scored in the Premier League. Wearing this retro Man Utd jersey and his Adidas Predators with the famous Sharp sponsor and those long sleeves he scored from the halfway line!

England (1998)

This England shirt was worn by legends such as Paul Gascoigne and Alan Shearer. But one of the most famous moments for David Beckham's career wearing the England football shirt was the red card against Argentina.

Watching the Beckham documentary, you see the effect it had on him following his sending off for kicking out at Diego Simeone. He was booed all around the country after the World Cup but it only made him stronger as a player.

This jersey brings back some bad memories for England fans but how nice were Umbro retro football shirts back then?

It's not just because of the game though as the football shirt itself is beautiful. Beckham was named the best player in Europe following this treble winning campaign with Manchester United.

As a Manchester United fan myself who was too young for the glory days of the treble team, this was the football shirt that i loved the most under Fergie.

2003 was peak Barclays football were we enjoyed the battles with Arsenal and Wenger and featured legends of the club like Ferdinand and Roy Keane. David Beckham famously appeared with a stitch on his eye following a bust up with Ferguson which resulted in this being the last Manchester United football shirt he wore.

Real Madrid (2003)
